Here's a question: Have you ever tried to E-mail a digital photo, but it was just too big?

Of course! We all have!

Or...when's the last time you tried to publish a graphic to the Internet that was too big?

Doesn't this look familiar:

Yikes!

If you're not optimizing graphics properly, your Web site visitors and email recipients get an image that is too large to be fully visible on the computer screen.

All you can hope is that they will resort to manual scrolling to scan awkwardly down and around, utilizing persistence of vision and short term memory to get an idea of what the image actually looks like. "Is that an ear, or a knee?" Remember this: Scrolling is bad. It takes up a ton of memory and makes the user's computer lag. Frustrated, they usually give up and click away, completely missing the entire image - what a waste!

Fortunately for you, every image you send or publish to the Web will be optimized perfectly and will be fully viewed by everyone on the Net regardless of their browser version, screen size, Internet connection speed, or memory capability.

That's because you are a Certified Photoshop Elements Basics Wiz. And all the images you send are displayed fully and proudly, like this:

Take part in the very first TeleSeminar brought to you by Fun Facts Publishing. What's a TeleSeminar? It's a wonderful new way to bring you the information and the inspiration for which we have become famous. We pride ourselves on bringing you the educated insight that will help your business run more efficiently and will ultimately help you succeed and achieve all your dreams.

This TeleSeminar will be geared for people who have ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE with graphic design or Photoshop. However, even Photoshop gurus are welcome - you never know when you will learn a new trick or technique!

The seminar will focus on technical demonstrations and repetition of fundamental tasks. There will be some theory discussed here and there, but usually it will only last as long as takes to set up the next demonstration.

If you have ever wanted to take the mystery out of Photoshop, this is the TeleSeminar for you!

In this TeleSeminar, we'll cover:

Basic Photoshop 101

Tools (the important ones)
Layers
Filters
Effects
Undo History
Save for Web
Actions

Plus:

We will take several different images and optimize them - in other words, prepare them for being uploaded and downloaded by reducing their screen size and file size. These steps include, but are not limited to: altering, cropping, restoring, and then Saving For Web.

After this TeleSeminar, you will be able to take any image, whether scanned or from a digital camera, and make it suitable for E-mail or to display on a Web-site, or even for use in video productions.

The images will be taken from a variety of different sources and there will be different adjustments made to each image. You will follow along with me on your computer and we will create great-looking optimized images together.

What you will need:

A computer - I will be working on a Compac Deskpro (IBM or PC compatible) and running Windows XP. (Mac users are welcome, just remember the basic PC/MAC differences such as "Alt" means "Option" and "Control" means "Command/Apple Button.")

If you have a PC but are running a different version of Windows, you should have no problem following along. If you have no computer handy, it will be very hard to follow along and I would not recommend taking part in this TeleSeminar.

Bonus!

I will finally expose, once and for all, the question that always gets asked and rarely gets answered sufficiently in any setting: "How do I scan my layouts if they don't fit in my scanner?"

True, everyone has heard the same answer: "Just scan the layout in two passes and then stitch it together with Photoshop." Well, after explaining it over and over, I have finally put together a ten minute explanation that will make everything crystal clear! By the end, you will truly understand what that repeated cop-out of an answer means. And don't forget, you will be amazed at how EASY it all is!

That's the main reason I can't wait to get on the phone with you. Too many people are scared off by graphic design because they think it is too difficult to understand. Not so! During personal training sessions, my favorite thing to hear is "That's it?! That's all it takes?! Well, well that's EASY!" And I hear those exact phrases all the time!

The only problem is that I simply cannot do personal training sessions 24 hours a day!

But now you can learn exactly what our personal clients learn for a fraction of the price. For only $19 you will learn everything you need to be a Certified Photoshop Elements Basics Wiz - plus you will be given easy to follow lessons and procedures that you can practice after the TeleSeminar to become faster and more Wiz-like!

Why are we offering such a discount? Time. It is very important to Fun Facts Publishing that this industry be elevated to a level much more visible by the rest of the world AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This will be most readily accomplished by all of you working hard to master your craft and utilize all the tools that will increase the quality and efficiency of your output.

About Photoshop Elements...

Why are we using Photoshop Elements and not Photoshop itself? Regular Photoshop is an awesome utility and I recommend it highly. It is well worth the $649 price tag. (Although, as any rational person knows, software should be free and software companies should sell advertising to be viewed while the user runs the software.)

However, the wonderfully brilliant people at Adobe, the digital graphics Mecca which created Photoshop, have also created Adobe Photoshop Elements for those of us without a massive software budget to tap into. Photoshop Elements has everything you need for most of the graphic design projects you will encounter; it is basically a scaled-back version of the regular Photoshop software. And Elements will only run you $149.

But wait, there's more! You don't even have to BUY the software for this Teleseminar. One of the GREAT things about Adobe is that they offer FULLY-FUNCTIONAL trial versions of all their software for FREE! To read more about Photoshop Elements and download the FULLY-FUNCTIONAL trial version of the software please visit:

http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopel/main.html

NOTE: YOU MUST SUCCESSFULLY INSTALL THE SOFTWARE BEFORE THE TELESEMINAR OR YOU WILL COMPLETELY MISS THE FIRST FEW LESSONS OR MORE!

Using Photoshop Elements, we'll be creating drop shadows and faded edges and rotating images and enlarging them and adding text to them and then we'll blur them or emboss them and fragment them and make them black and white or sepia or bright pink or so faded that they're barely even there!

All that and much more in only two hours! Can you believe it? I even WORK here and I don't believe it! But it's true. If you are at all interested in combining your scrapbooking business and that oddly-confusing, strangely-humming hunk of metal next to your desk, then this is truly the opportunity you have been waiting for.

On a personal note, there will always be more TeleSeminars, but there will never be a FIRST one again - be a part of scrapbooking history! Reserve your place today!
