Thank goodness I love to read, because I do it a lot! More than 70 magazines a month, and nearly every book I can get my hands on. When I read a book, I always have my highlighter in hand (magazine articles can be easily torn out and kept in one of my many files). You can judge how informative I thought a book was by looking at how much of it is highlighted.

"The One Minute Millionaire" is almost entirely yellow from my highlighter! This book was written by Mark Victor Hansen & Robert G. Allen. Mark is the co-creator of the phenomenal "Chicken Soup For The Soul" series (by the way, did you know this series was originally self-published?) and Robert is the man behind many books, including "Multiple Streams of Income."

The whole premise of "The One Minute Millionaire" is to teach people to be "enlightened millionaires," people who focus on adding as much value as possible in the pursuit of wealth, people who know they must create wealth where everyone wins. They stress going the extra mile and always giving back, including donating a portion of your salary on a regular basis.

The book is amazingly informative and inspirational, but what makes it even better is that it is two books in one. The pages on the left side include the nonfiction part of the book, and the pages on the right are a novel.

The novel tells the tale of Michelle, a single mother who is faced with this situation: earn a million dollars in 90 days or lose her children to her late husband's parents. It is a compelling tale, yet informative as well. Did I cry? Hey, it's from the "Chicken Soup For The Soul" guy - what do you think? Does she get her kids back? You'll have to read it to find out.

This book has been the first to really move me in a long time. I was so psyched up after reading it! So I have decided to respond to the authors' request: their goal is to create a million millionaires in this decade, so they are asking everyone who reads the book to pass the information along.
