How to Make Sure You Get Our Mail

Most of you are aware of the spam problem (unsolicited emails from "companies" trying to sell you stuff) affecting all of us with email addresses. This problem affects legitimate businesses as well - some of you may not be receiving the issues of Scrapbook Industry News™ that you subscribed to!

Some email providers now search for "spam words" in each email, and they will delete the message before you ever see it. This is fine, but some of the words they look for include "free," "money," anything in all capital letters, multiple exclamation points, and even the words "to unsubscribe!" We make every effort to check each issue (you'll note the use of asterisks in words such as "money" and "income"), but the words added to spam filters change frequently.

To make sure that this ezine is not filtered into your "junk" or "bulk" folder, please add it to your list of trusted senders. Here's how:

Hotmail: Place the domain FunFactsPublishing.com in your safe list. The safe list can be accessed via the "Options" link in the upper right corner.

AOL: Place the domain FunFactsPublishing.com in your address book.

Yahoo! Mail: If one of our ezines is filtered to your 'bulk' folder, open the message and click on the "this is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.

Other Providers: If our ezines are being filtered, try adding our domain FunFactsPublishing.com, from our ezine's 'From' or 'Reply-to' address to your address book or contact list. If this option is not available, try moving the message to your 'inbox' or forwarding the message to yourself.

If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's tech support and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from FunFactsPublishing.com. Follow their instructions for "whitelisting" our ezine.
