Plan a crop/event so all your customers can celebrate the fact this industry
exists! Don't forget to invite the media and provide them with the fact sheet
above.
Consider holding a charity crop/event and donating proceeds to a scrapbook-related
organization, such as Picture
Me or Products
For the Cure. Make sure you let the media know.
Offer to speak about the Industry at your local Chamber of Commerce, Small
Business Administration, or other local business resource.
Offer to partner with the above organizations to co-sponsor promotion of International
Scrapbooking Industry Day. They may have better access and connections to
local media.
Local competiton? Not on this day! Team up with fellow retailers, custom scrapbook
artists, and direct sales consultants to hold an event and show the media
how many different areas of the industry exist!
