Hello and a warm welcome to all new subscribers!
The biggest news is that all three of our new books are back from the
printer and will begin shipping at the end of this week! To celebrate,
we will continue to offer our pre-order special on each book for one more
week. So, if you place your order before September 24, you will

We have some wonderful additions to the Fun Facts Publishingteam in the
form of a group of interns! We'll be posting their photos on the Web site
soon. Welcome Ann, Ana, Michael, Anjal, and Clarence!
This will be the last ezine before we head to Vegas for the MemoryTrends
trade show. We'll be teaching two seminars on September 29 and then walking
the show floor the next two days. We will not have a booth but we'll definitely
be around, so if you see us at the show, stop us and say hi to receive
a special gift!
After Vegas, we're off to Orlando, Florida, for the Memories Expo show.
We'll be teaching three full days of seminars: "Scrapbook
Business University" and "Make
Money Making Scrapbooks For Others, Day 1 and Day 2" Registration

Tip Of The Week: Jumpstart Your Biz With Business Cards

This tip comes to us from Custom Scrapbook Artist Tiffany Dunagan:
As I followed all of the procedures for starting a new business (DBA,
business license, tax ID number, zoning requests, etc.), I made sure I
had plenty of business cards on hand. I had already made sure that my
name was available, so I already had them printed. You come in contact
with so many people as you travel from office to office, building to building
(I live in a large city) and you never know who is a potential client.
No one really understood what I did, so I had to explain it to everyone.
They were all amazed someone actually made scrapbooks for a living and
they were all intrigued. One of my newest clients is the notary public
who had to notarize my DBA request! The Dept. of Revenue employee also
expressed interest for a gift certificate for his wife. I gave him a card
and also asked for his email so I could email him any specials I might
be having soon. Always be prepared!
